The Princeton nine are taking on the New York Giants in thrilling exhibition match that wasn’t decided until the 9th inning with the Giants pushed across the winning run. Going into the last frame, Princeton Tigers trailed the Giants 10-3 but rallied for seven runs to tie the game at 10-10, aided by a 3-run hit by Arthur Gunster that brought the 800 chilled rooters to their feet cheering for the underdogs. But the Giants’ George Van Haltren would score the winning run on a Tigers muff on a easy flyball for a final score of 11-10.
