Let’s Get Gil Into the Hall!

“He was a great player but an even greater man.” – Brooklyn Dodger Hall-of-Famer Duke Snider, speaking of teammate Gil Hodges  

Help us correct a severe baseball injustice by petitioning the Golden Era committee to elect Gil Hodges to the Hall of Fame.  In the words of Jackie Robinson, Gil was the “Heart-and-Soul” of the Brooklyn Dodgers for many years. His baseball credentials are Hall-of-Fame worthy by any fair measure of evaluation. Beloved by his teammates, Gil was also a man of outstanding character, as the above quote attests.

Please consider helping our cause by adding your name to the petition below. It will be forwarded to the Golden Era committee at the appropriate time prior to their vote on December 5, 2021. It’s a travesty that Gil hasn’t been enshrined already. We pledge to do our part to help correct this wrong by honoring the legacy of this outstanding ball player – who was an even better man – by finally giving him the long-overdue honor of enshrinement in the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
