Merry Christmas!
Ron and I would like to wish all our readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season! As we are now well into our fifth year of posting interesting (we hope!) baseball articles and photos here on our Old-Time Baseball Photos Facebook page, we’d like to use this occasion to thank our many loyal readers for the positive feedback we continue to receive, making all our humble efforts worthwhile.
We’d also like to extend a special word of thanks to all our great contributors who have added so much to the quality of our page this year, including Author Ron Waldo, Kyle McNary, Alex Cheremeteff, and our newest addition, Bill Gutman. And of course a special word of thanks for our resident baseball artist and baseball researcher par excellence, Don Stokes.
As many of you are aware, Facebook has recently altered its platforms and algorithms, which has severely affected the distributions of our posts, cutting our “reach” in some cases by as much as 90%. We will be issuing a statement on this unfortunate situation in the coming days ahead.
Anyway…it may be the middle of winter on this Christmas day, 2018, but baseball is still on our minds. (By the way, it’s only 94 more days until Opening Day!). So to inject a little baseball “cheer” into our celebrations today, just click on the link to see a nice holiday season photo collection I put together that I’m calling “Baseball and Christmas Through the Years.”
And what could be a more fitting way for all of us who love baseball history and old baseball photos to celebrate the Christmas season than by continuing our tradition of posting Christmas cards send out by the George Herman Ruth family from days gone by.
Again, on behalf of all our great contributors: “Merry Christmas to all!”
Ron and Gary

Merry Christmas, Gary.
Only 86 to opening day if you count the two game Japan Series between Oakland and Seattle on March 20-21! (But, who’s counting?)….⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️
Merry Christmas to you and your family Dr. LiVacari. Lance, Debbie & Eric Larson
Thanks Lance! Same to all the Larsons!
