February Baseball Trivia Contest Now Open:

So You Think You Know A Lot About Babe Ruth!

(Part One)

We’ll soon find out!

Our January Trivia Contest and Grand Prize Giveaway was a great success, so we’ve decided to keep it going. Our hope is that this will become an ongoing event, as every month we’ll test your knowledge of baseball history. Each contest will cover a specific topic of baseball history.

This month’s focus: The Beloved Bambino, Babe Ruth

Believe me, this month’s trivia contest will test your knowledge of Babe Ruth. I’d guess a score of 75% or better would be excellent. Remember, you can take the quiz just “for the fun of it.” You can even take it as often as you’d like. Or you can take it to qualify for our monthly Grand Prize Giveaway: a $50 Amazon Gift Card.

Keep in mind that you don’t have to score high to qualify for the monthly prize. Your participation is all that is required.

(In the photo above, we see a beautiful colorization of the Bambino by our resident baseball artist Don Stokes).

Read the contest rules before clicking on one of the links that will take you to the monthly quiz. If you’d like to be eligible for the Grand Prize Giveaway, either send me an email saying: “I took the quiz, my score is____” (Livac2@aol.com); or alternatively, just leave your name in the comments section below and write: “I took the quiz, my score is____.” Look for a confirmation from me within 24 hours of submitting your entry to be sure I didn’t overlook it.

Either way, you will automatically be entered into the random drawing to determine the monthly Grand Prize Giveaway contest winner

  1. I just failed miserably on a baseball trivia quiz.
Name the 4 players who hit a HR before age 20 and after age 40….

    Any guesses?
